SHAITAN MAZAR Announce New Drummer

SHAITAN MAZAR, the new band featuring former NILE members Chief Spires (bass, vocals) and John Ehlers (guitar),have announced the addition of drummer Jake Axelson to the group's ranks. "Jake is a very seasoned and talented drummer," the band write on their web site. "His skills have refined the SHAITAN MAZAR sound over the last couple of weeks of rehearsing. He will be re-recording all the drum tracks to the upcoming release at Black Hole Studios in Greenville." Spires comments: "Jake is the drummer we have needed. He has all the elements, timing, tight feet, direction, dedication, and outstanding playing ability. SHAITAN now feels very complete to me." Jake will make his live debut with the group on July 16 at the 1st annual Smacky Awards (at Ground Zero in Spartanburg, SC).
